A Christmas Quiz

How much do you know about the facts behind some of the things said and sung about Christmas? Try your hand at these questions.

1. The carol “In the Bleak Midwinter” is correct in saying:
A. Jesus was born in midwinter.
B. Palestinian winters are vicious.
C. God is too big for heaven.

2. The baby Jesus:
A. No crying he made.
B. Tears & smiles like us he knew.
C. Looks down from the sky.

3. Joseph was a descendant of:
A. King David, king in 1000 BC.
B. Joseph (of Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat fame).
C. Nehemiah who rebuilt Jerusalem.

4. They gave the baby the name “Jesus” because
