Going for Growth We invite you all to our joint Lent Course for Wrose, Eccleshill and Bolton: Thursdays at 7.30pm in March. This year we’re making a start on our “cluster” of churches working together, and we have a course to spur us into both thought and action. Bon Jackson has done a lot of fact-finding about healthy churches and healthy Christians. “Churches fixated on growth rarely grow,” he writes. “Quantity flows naturally from quality and relevance. Growing churches have found God’s way to offer high-quality relevance to the people. Not rocket science, but simple steps. Expect dry bones to live again.” (“Going for Growth”, 2006). Each evening will have some worship, some input, some discussion in groups with refreshments, and some concluding thoughts. Come and join us. John Hartley |
