From the sun's rising From the sun's rising From the sun's rising to the sun's setting, The Lord is exalted in glory,
From the sun's rising ... He raises the poor from the ashes
From the sun's rising ... Words copyright © John Hartley 2009. All rights reserved.
Story behind the song Psalm 113 seems to lend itself exactly to the structure I've used in this song: the key phrase "From the rising of the sun to its going down, praise the Lord" has been used many times in songs and it is exactly right for a chorus, and the other two stanzas provide fitting verses for it. So here it is, a simple song of praise for who God is and what he has done for his people. John Hartley.

Windows Media Player. When you click the left-hand "play" button your computer should have started to play the tune. If it didn't, you might be able to get the tune by clicking here, or by right-clicking the link, choosing "save target as", saving it onto your computer, and then opening it with a music-playing program. Please remember that a midi file of a tune isn't supposed to be a state-of-the-art musical arrangement - it is only supposed to give a basic idea of how the tune goes. Any reasonable organist / keyboard player / music group could make it sound far better.
