MOOSE STEW
2 tablespoon oil
1 pound moose (cut in 1" cubes)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup cut turnip
1/2 cup peas
2 teaspoon corn starch
2 1/2 cups boiling water
1 bouillon cube
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 large potatoes
2 sliced carrots
2 teaspoon flour
Heat oil and add cubed moose. Stir fry on medium heat until all browned. Turn heat low and
add onion, stirring until onion is lightly coloured. Add water, salt, pepper and bouillon cube.
Cover and simmer 1 hour. Add cut potatoes, turnip and carrot. Cover and simmer until
vegetables and meat are tender. Add peas. Stir flour and cornstarch with one third cup cold
