The 'Groove'

The 'Groove' is incorporated into the striking pads on Woof Wear Brushing Boots to prolong the useful life of the products.
The Stitching that secures the pad to the brushing boot, runs along grooves in the pad so that the stitching is below the outer surface of the pad and is therefore protected from abrasion, snagging or cutting.

V-Lex Pad

A durable vinyl that will withstand extensive abrasion when used under everyday conditions. Tested to very high standards thus providing a strong protective barrier for the horse.

K Foam Neoprene

A closed cell neoprene which is both flexible and supportive. It has a low water absorption (3%), good resistance to ultra violet light and high wet strength.

Super-Plush Neoprene

Looped fabric on K Foam neoprene for velcro attachment, allowing full adjustment of velcro straps and fittings.

Neotek

A new revolutionary fabric, that has been specially developed for its anti-abrasion properties. Made from a combination of 160 denier Cordura nylon with a propprietory coating, resisting wear under rapid friction abrasion.

EVA 80 Foam An Ethylene vinyl acetate foam that provides insulation and protection

PORON 4000

Absorbs impact more effectively than any other products with no deterioration. It has microscopic open cells that provide a unique ability to cushion impact.

Stirlene

A polypropylene derivative with excellent durability and abrasion resistance

Fur Foam

with Cordura A combination of polyester/Acrylic fur for comfort, warmth and wicking moisture away from the legs, high density polyester foam used for its rigidity, protection and shock absorbing properties, and an outer leyer of cordura for resistance to abrasion and added protection to the legs.

Oxley Thread

One of the leading thread manufacturers supplying all thread used in our leg protection. A strong 100% polyester thread which has a high biological resistance to moulds and fungi making it rot proof.
