Greetings and welcome to the online home of “The High Rollers.” We’re a unit of the Starfleet Marine Corps, itself a unit of Starfleet: The International Star Trek Fan Association.

SFMC units are organized in a manner very similar to that of SFI: various states and nations of the world are divided into Brigades (equivalent to the SFI region) and then divided into smaller units called Battalions. The 7th Battalion is found within the 1st Brigade of the Starfleet Marine Corps (the states of Indiana, Kentucky, North & South Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia) and is comprised of Marine Strike Groups located in the state of Virginia.

At the present moment, there are two active Marine Strike Groups within the 7th Battalion, though we are hoping our numbers will grow in the future.

Strike Group Information
108th Strike Group: USS Jamestown
OIC: Colonel Jason Schreck

The 108th "Crazy Eights" is a unit containing Marines from a variety of branches including Aerospace, MECHA, and Support. In recent months the 108th has been very active at USS Jamestown events, many of which have taken place at the Virginia Air and Space Center. These events include the reopening of the Star Trek: Federation Science exhibit at VASC which hosted Marina Sirtis, the Off World Festival which hosted Nichelle Nichols, and most recently, the Klingon-Starfleet Blood Feud 2001 for the American Red Cross which hosted J.G. Hertzler and received coverage in SFI’s Communique. The 108th’s DOIC represented the unit at Shore Leave 23, attending the 7th Brigade’s annual muster.

125th Strike Group: USS Powhatan

The 125th is a unit composed entirely of Infantry Branch Marines. The 125th Marines also put in an appearance at VASC’s Off World Festival this year.
